Togo EdTech Ecosystem Programme — Final Workshop, Reflection and Start-up Marketplace
On behalf of GIZ (ProDigiT) · Hosted by Agence Togo Digital (ATD) · Implemented by common sense eLearning & Training Consultants, with Khusraw Parwez (Head of International Projects) and Arndt Bubenzer (Managing Director)

From 1 to 4 September 2026, common sense delivered the closing phase of the Togo EdTech Ecosystem Programme — a four-day progression from collective reflection to individual, market-facing presentation. The cohort of nine Togolese EdTech start-ups, selected from 39 applicants and immersed in a two-week programme in Vienna in May, arrived at the point where general learning became concrete, demonstrable propositions.
Over the first days, each venture sharpened its own case — a clear problem, a primary user, a value proposition, evidence of traction, a specific partnership ask and a concrete next milestone — and prepared it in the format best suited to its maturity: live demonstrations, clickable prototypes, marketplace posters, one-page briefs or short product videos.
The programme closed on 4 September with a public event featuring opening remarks by GIZ/ProDigiT and ATD, three group presentations, certificate handover and an interactive start-up marketplace, where invited stakeholders circulated between stations to see demos, hear pitches and explore collaboration directly with the founders.
The event was honoured by the visit of His Excellency Stefan Anton Messerer, German Ambassador to Togo, and Kafui Ekouhoho, Director General of Agence Togo Digital — a clear mark of institutional backing for Togo's emerging EdTech ecosystem.
By the close, all nine ventures — EduFast, Eforma Africa, Mon Choix Ma Carrière, Nufia, Edumiaa, DEEZPRO, MainBridge, SKULLVI and ENOVSKY — could present real users, value propositions and partnership needs, with their focus now shifting from capacity building to market access. The workshop is also an early step on the road to eLearning Africa 2027, taking place in Lomé in May 2027 — a landmark opportunity to bring this first cohort of Togolese EdTech ventures to a pan-African stage of customers, partners and investors.
