About the
conference
Twenty-five years ago, common sense was founded, even before the turn of the millennium, when the eLearning industry (and the founding team) was still very young. Today, we are among the established companies in the industry and can look back on a diverse, successful, and colourful history.
In honour of this anniversary, we want to embark on a quest to explore the effectiveness of our work and digital learning in general. In the conference, we want to work together to explore what makes learning effective and meaningful and how we can enable and ensure effectiveness through the use of educational technologies.
As a keynote speaker, we have invited Prof. Dr. Axel Koch, who stirred up controversy under a pseudonym with his book "Die Weiterbildungslüge” (The lie of further education), questioning the effectiveness of many corporate training offerings. We are eager to be challenged by him and, together with you, during the conference, we will work on answers to how learning can truly be effective with "common sense."
