Austrian eLearning Conference AeLC 2010
|
Vienna – September 22 - 23, 2010 Open Source Tools for eLearning have been the big "no-no" for educational institutions. Not stable enough, not enough professional support, not sustainalbe. But the picture changed. In recent years, Open Source Tools have become a serious factor competing with (and complement for) commercial tools. Meanwhile many - also commercially used - eLearning measurements are offerend on Open Source Platforms or are developed with Open Source Software. The presentation given by common sense at the Austrian eLearning Conference introduces relevant Open Source Tools for the educational sector and shows possibilities and constraints. Best practice examples explain adequate processes for the use, and illustrate models for support and training. |
