The eureleA – European Award for Technology Supported Learning - is a prestigious contest on the European level, which honours outstanding examples of teaching and learning by digital media since 2004.

Programme Online Educa Berlin Print Email

common sense was present at Online Educa Berlin 2011 from 30th of November until the 2nd of December! (Booth number C95)


On the 1st of December we initiated a meeting on the development of eXeLearning. During this meeting, we contacted organisations, who are interested in a further development of the eXeLearning authoring tool. This side meeting took place in the room 'Zille' from 2 pm to 3 pm.


We gave a presentation at the conference on the 2nd of December 2011. common sense consultant Manfred Freisitzer presented “Dialog Models for Developing Interactive Voice Response for Audio-Based M-Learning Applications” in the context of “Mobile Learning Applications for All” (MOB53) from 11:45am to 1:15pm.

Moderation and Presentation at AeLC Print Email
The Austrian eLearning Conference (www.aelc.at) took place on 19th and 20th October 2011 as a part of  Personal Austria 2011 in Messe Wien Fair Center, Vienna.  AeLC 2011 was the second specialised congress for e-Learning, Knowledge Management and Personnel Development where common sense was a member of the programme board. common sense consultant and Projectmanager Andreas Hörfurter moderated the panel discussion for four sessions in the morning on 20th October and presented   "e-Learning: Inhouse-Development or Outsourcing?" at Workshop-Cafe in the afternoon.

I-Call Launch in Kenya Print Email
Many people living in Kenya will listen to it: The story of a household help who learns how to make gold from garbage. Since January 2011, the mobile phone telenovela “Garbage is Gold” was developed by Kenya’s National Environment Management Agency (NEMA) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), supported by the mobile Learning experts of Common Sense – eLearning & training consultants in Vienna. At Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Nairobi, the completed mobile Learning pilot was presented to the public and launched via a toll-free number on September 20, 2011.
